It takes around 50 minutes from the passenger terminal of Incheon International Port to there with high-speed ferries which run two times a day and costs KRW 21,900/adult. If you use a Daebu car ferry service (able to transport your vehicle) at the Bangahmeori quay of Daebudo, it takes one hour and 40 minutes and KRW 12,100. The car ferry runs once or twice a day during off-peak seasons and two to three times a day during peak seasons. A public bus is available in Deokjeok-do. During summer vacation time, ferries run more often.

Deokjeok Island
Seopori Beach
The fine clean sandy beach (sandy beach 2-km, 50-meter wide) is one of the best tourist attractions around the Yellow Sea. Surrounded by 200 or 300 years old pine trees standing like a folding screen, the beach retain charm to tourists.
Batjirum Beach
Batjirum Beach commands the view of untainted bluish green sea. Mountaintop Bijo forms the background of the beach while endless horizon over the sea creates breath-taking scenery. Fine, clean and golden sandy beach is in a great harmony with hundreds year of 600 black pine trees and sea briers.
Gombawi
Gakhul-do, an unmanned island between Mungap-do and Baekah-do, has a bear showing its claw. Gombawi (Bear Rock) looks like a roaring bear walking toward mainland China. On the ship, you can see the unique-looking Bear Rock over the moving tides.
Neungdong Pebble Ground
A vast reed habitat is located in Buk-ri, about 8 km away to the north from Jin-ri quay, which is adjacent to the Neungdong Pebble Ground, which enables you to command the view of romantic shoreline along with reeds and peculiar-looking stones. Many people visit the place to enjoy sea fishing. It can be a good idea for you and your family to visit here during late fall or winter.
Soya Island
Daepury beach
Its thick forest has wide grassy camp site and great sceneries. Its untainted natural environments remain intact since not many human visits to the area. In addition, you can experience Miracle of Moses in Soya-do when the sea splits itself once a day. Please make sure to check the splitting before your departure (www.nori.go.kr/seasplitting).
Mountaintop Bijo & Guksa
It is a one-hour hiking route (7km) surrounded by hundreds-years-old red pine trees, and recently favored by hike-lovers. Sunrise and sunset from here is quite recommendable and there are hiking routes from Jin-ri and Seopo-ri.
Gulup Island
Gulup-do Beach
Gulup-do gained its name from its shape looking like a person bending his back to dig the land. It has splendid shoreline sceneries and you can enjoy sea fishing in the beautiful, untainted island.
Thanks to the recent realization of the dream to be a marine tourism complex, the island is expected to be a heaven for marine leisure and sports.
Its tiny village consists of six or seven houses. During late at night, you can clearly hear sea tides meet sand grains, which shows how close the village is to the sea. A pine forest divides village and beach. Through the small openings between tightly-packed pine trees, the sun gives its lays and the sea waves faintly play their music.
